The Uganda Revenue Authority has issued a mandatory directive requiring all taxpayers to update their registration details on the URA portal. Non-compliance could disrupt payroll, block access to URA services, and expose businesses to audit risk. Here is everything your business needs to know.

⚠ Important

Taxpayers whose registration details are not up to date will be prompted by the URA system to update their information upon logging into their TIN account before proceeding with any transaction on the URA web portal.

 


To update your registration details, log into your TIN account on the URA portal at www.ura.go.ug or visit the nearest URA tax office for assistance. For further inquiries, contact URA at services@ura.go.ug, call the toll-free line 0800 217000, or WhatsApp 0772 140000.
