The American Chamber of Commerce Uganda (AmCham Uganda) Secretariat, together with members of the Board, hosted a farewell dinner in honour of Ambassador William W. Popp on 28th April at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
The group celebrated Ambassador Popp’s tenure and his contribution to strengthening U.S.–Uganda commercial and diplomatic relations. Over the course of his service, Ambassador Popp played a pivotal role in deepening engagement between the private sector and government, championing trade, investment, and a more enabling business environment.
