Olea Launch in Uganda

On 30th January, OLEA Uganda was launched in to the Uganda market following the acquisition of Marsh Insurance brokers. As part of this transition, Fiona Magezi was appointed Managing Director of OLEA Uganda. Magezi brings extensive experience in the insurance sector, having held senior roles at Marsh Uganda, and is expected to lead the company in driving growth, improving client services, and strengthening the overall footprint of OLEA in the country.

The acquisition not only introduces OLEA’s Pan-African network and expertise to Uganda but also ensures continuity of services for existing clients while expanding access to a broader portfolio of insurance solutions. The company aims to leverage its regional knowledge and resources to support businesses of all sizes in managing risks more effectively and seizing opportunities in a dynamic economic landscape.

This expansion into Uganda represents a strategic step for OLEA Insurance Solutions Africa as it continues its mission to provide world-class insurance brokerage services across the continent, while building strong relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders in East Africa.
